Season changes.....

As we look at the changes in seasons I am often reminded of the beauty of God’s work. He allowed the leaves to change to vibrant colors during the Fall. He then allowed the Winter to arrive so that what needed to die could in order to make room for the new. He gave us rainfall so that new growth could occur in the Spring. In the Summer we are able to enjoy the fruits of His labor.

This cycle is like our own journey of life full of changes just like the seasons. We have times where everything in our lives seems bright and beautiful. Then the winter of life arrives where it seems like all our hopes, dreams, and steps are put to death by challenges and circumstances. But it is only so that new things can develop in us. We even have times of rain fall from the tears that are shed during this time of growth. Oh but how great it is when new wonderful things and events start to spring up in our lives. Then we have the pleasure of seeing the fruits of all that we have been through. We begin to feel and see the joy in each day that we are blessed to experience as the seasons of life arrive. You must remember that there is a reason for every season and in the end it's the end enlargement will come and the beautiful artwork of God will be revealed. “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” Genesis 8:22 NIV

Joy within...

Joy is the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation: (By Dictionary.com) Sometimes with different circumstances and challenges that you may encounter it may feel like you have no joy. What you have to remember is that you may not be happy about what is going on in your life. But the joy that is given to you comes from God it is what He represents and what He wants for you to enjoy. There is a song that says: “this joy I have the world didn’t give it and the world can’t take it away”. It is so true life will always have its ups and downs but as long as you have joy deep in your soul the joy knowing that God will never leave you. Know that this is only a season that you’re going thorough. Then you can sing the same song with joy in your heart. Let’s begin to have joy in the good and even difficult times because we serve a God that will stand there with us until the end of time. Time to get our joy back…

Finding JOY....

Sometimes it’s hard to find joy when everything around you is falling apart. It is hard to be happy when you feel so alone and set apart from the rest of the world. It is even harder to see the joy around you when all there seems to be is sadness. You must remember that Joy true JOY comes from knowing that God is the creator of everything. With your connection to Him you can overcome the darkness and come into the light. JOY begins with remembering that each day you are given is a blessing and a chance to look at all the beauty that surrounds you. JOY is about finding laughter and smiling through the tears and knowing that: weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5 NIV

Together in the next few months we will work together in getting our true JOY back. I know it has been awhile but we have been blessed to share inspiration via facebook-Expressions of Life and twitter-Expressionslife were you can follow us for daily uplifting. It was time to come back and do our monthly blogging to share more with each one of you on this journey. I pray that you will always keep God first.

Little Steps do Count.....

A lot of times we take for granted that the little steps we take in life count just as much as the big ones if not more sometimes. The little steps that we make day by day are the ones that move us toward our goals, can sometimes be the hardest ones we would ever make. These are the steps that by the world standards may not count for much, but by God they are the ones that let Him know that you have faith enough in Him to try. See, little steps can eventually turn into larger ones, but you have to start with baby steps. The point is that in order to walk in your victory you have to stop crawling and begin to take the little steps first. The steps of going back to school or starting a new career, a step of confidence in yourself, a step of laughter in the darkest moments of your life. Each one of these steps and every other little step you make; is the one that lets the enemy know you have a great journey ahead and even if it just a little step at a time you will not stand still. So let's begin with the little steps because the do really count.

Stepping into Victory

Each day we take steps toward our future, now some steps are giant milestones. Well other steps are tiny ones working towards our dreams and goals little by little. Then there are the side steps we take when we get off course during our journey; through fear, complications, trials, misdirection, and even by our own choices. But the one thing that we have to always remember is to keep stepping no matter how you feel or what it looks like, just keep moving. Don't turn around and don't give up just keep stepping, the harder it get's the harder you try. When you get off course and maybe even pushed back a few steps, don't you stop keep moving those feet into your step into your victory.

It's back. Yes the new school year is here for some it may be the first year in a new school, and for others the last year of Junior High or High School. This is the year you have been waiting for or not. This may be the final time to hang out with friends before you possible go in separate directions. Whatever the experience make sure that you treasure this time in your life, because just as quickly as summer came and went, so can this particular journey. Look at each day as a new adventure that is getting you closer to your ultimate goal (s). Take time to appreciate how far you have come and those that are there cheering you on and the Creator that has granted you favor. And even if there is no one to physical cheer you on; remember that God is always there to give you encouragement and always on your side. This is the year that nothing can stop you from reaching the top and enjoying every step along the way. So get ready for the ride of your life and enjoy the wonderful things that are about to unfold in your life.

It's only a few days before school starts and you get back to new teachers, school work, homework, tests, and final chapters of your years there. But, remember the most important part of this is to do your best and enjoy the journey. Before you know it you will look up and these days will be in the past. Soon you will move to new adventures and challenges, but for right now be thankful that you have made it this far. Just think coming soon will be something new and maybe even better than you had before, but until it comes make the most of what you already have.

Day dreaming and I am thinking of you.....

What do you dream about doing or becoming in life? What can you see in your future? No matter what life may throw in your path never stop dreaming and believing not only yourself, but most of all in God who created you to be something special with unlimited possibilities. The only person that can stop you is you and those that you allow to take your dreams. They are the dream killers, they go around telling you what you can and can't do. Maybe you are your own dream killer, with negative thinking and self -doubt. Well, today I want you to give those dream killers the door. I want you to take back your future and all of its possibilities. I want you not only to dream, but dream big and know that if you put your faith in God , plus yourself there is nothing that you can't do with hard work. So let's begin to dream.......

Wow, it’s hard to believe that in a few weeks school will begin and for some it's a new beginning and for others it's saying good-bye to the past and hello to your future. It doesn't matter if this is your freshman year or senior and even the years in between; but what matters is what you are going to do to make a bright future for yourself. It's time to focus on how high you want to go in your life and the dreams you want to see fulfilled. No matter what you have been through it's never too late to reach for the stars, you have the ability to shine if you believe in yourself and not what others think or say. Life is about challenges and it’s up to you to conquer them with faith and trust in the Creator of life and the wonderful gifts and talents that He placed in you. Remember there is nothing impossible if you believe even when you can't see it YET. So make this a year to remember as it brings you closer to making your dreams a reality and watch how others change as the see your brightness
